I bought the Nikon ZF second-hand for two reasons: 1) Have a second full-frame camera body when doing portraits or weddings and 2) Have a camera body that I can use for street photography (I don’t really feel comfortable shooting my Z6II in the streets of Vienna, considering I am not a tourist. Also I have noticed people don’t feel like you have bad intentions with the ZF, whereas with the Z6II they can be sceptical). In addition, the camera just looks great and is fun to use. I am using it with a Smallrig wooden grip and it’s ok ergonomically (of course worse than the Z6II, but I don’t mind that – for traveling, when I am using my heavy 24-120mm and take a lot of landscape pictures, I simply bring the Z6II and leave the ZF at home).
