Kodak Retina 1B

Another camera I acquired second-hand (maybe third-hand, fourth-hand, etc., who knows?) very cheaply, the Kodak Retina 1B, particularly with its high-quality leather case, is a German-made jewel from the 1950s. There is no mirror, no rangefinder, just a foggy viewfinder, so you have to calculate exposure yourself and use zone-focus. Combine that with its cool look and you get as close to a true photography experience as it gets with 35mm film. Challenging, yet rewarding, I really enjoy using this camera.
